Why don't people think big?

When you watch television, you can see many programs talking about negativities of life. Many people are interviewed and from their responses, one can easily reach conclusion about how many react to situations in life. People are worried about their jobs, how to protect it or what to do to secure one in big corporations. It is interesting to note how many people do not think big. How can people with high level of education and experience be worried about job security? Why can't many be creative and think about transforming their knowledge into jobs? Why do we have only few creative people in the world? Few people like founders of Google, whatsapp, Apple, Dell Computers, Eastman Kodak, etc.?
The reason is that many people do not think big. Many are only worried about going to college and securing jobs thereafter. The irony is that they graduate in debt and complain about lack of jobs when, in the first case, no one has an obligation to create jobs for them. It is one of the myths people create and disseminate in the society. In a free and capitalist society, no one has any obligations to create jobs for others to work. Neither the government has this function. The function of the government is to make sure that every has the same opportunity to develop and be whatever he or she wants to be. In classical communist economy, governments create jobs artificially in order to maintain social stability and prevent uprisings. Even so, more jobs are created in capitalist economies than in communist ones.
One cannot be great unless he thinks about greatness first. So, think big!
